1. The Show Reports were discussed
2. Technical Officer Report
a. Wednesday 9-5 – Chris from Sound Associates, performing an EQ and servicing projectors – not a problem that we don’t have the new speaker yet.
b. New speaker should be here by day of AllNighter (extremely optimistically).
c. Found nice sony digital projector – not compatible with dolby surround. Cheapest 4K.
3. Training
a. Due to AllNighter no AT’s this weekend, and due to service none this Wednesday.
b. Neil, Tristan and Yeng need to have their AT2’s
4. AllNighter
a. Inquiries about DTS discs by Owen – the first three films may or may not have their DTS discs. Preferably play DTS.
b. Film 1, and Film 3 off platter. All other films to be played of 6000s – Owen will need 2 6000s.
c. Tron – No preference
d. Alex – Despicable Me.
e. Red- Fergus would be happy to project it if it is on the platter.
f. Mystery - Owen, Nikita
g. Wayne’s World – Tim G
h. Trainspotting - Rachel
i. All qualified projectionists will try to help out making-up films (not necessarily just their own) and projecting.
j. If trainees want to help out making-up they are welcome to.
k. Announced to attendees AllNighter publicity run to be taking place at 2pm on Wednesday, meeting in L3.
l. L3 is free at 6, perhaps earlier.
5. Alcohol
a. Mention of decisions made by exec on this issue (mostly reiterations). –
i. Under no circumstances should alcohol be consumed in the proj box.
ii. All people in the proj box should be in a fit, safe and sober state at all times.
iii. Those working a show should be in a fit state to do so.
6. AOB’s
a. Platter – if people are not confident with the platter – please ask! Otherwise double and triple check that you’ve got things right (even if you have asked)!
b. Everyone has read Tim D’s email about gate tension, gate tension is not to be adjusted with a screwdriver! Use your fingers carefully – so you can feel the tension.
c. Ads - Green reel played in week 5 was returned to us, blacks ads have come back.
d. It is noted that Odeon Suck!
e. It was also noted that Digital Projection Sucks!
f. Tech – Alex thinking about bringing in an issue tracker, to keep track of general broken-ness and routine maintenance.
g. Social announcements – L3 next Monday – film and food, suggestions for films would be appreciated – email to Fergus.
h. There will be an AllNighter social at end of term – for those that enjoy watching disgusting films (like Fergus).
7. Rota Sign-ups
a. Matt Breeze might be able to sign-up for Thursday but needs to check diary.
b. Owen Signed-up to showing of Fargo.
c. Fergus signed-up to Harry Potter early.
d. Neil signed-up to TProj Harry Potter late.
e. Rachel, Fergus and Nikita signed-up to The Thing (70mm).
