1. Welcome and Apologies
Rob welcomed all those present to what will quite possibly be his last DM Meeting as the sole Chief DM. (Chief DM & Marketing Officer Elections Monday Week 9 from 7pm in L3).
2. Rotas
Ed has asked to be replaced as DM for the late screening of Narnia on Sunday. Natalie has moved to the late and Owen has replaced her on the early – kind thanks to both for this.
3. Matters arising from the minutes of the last DM Meeting (23rd Feb 2011)
No issues were reported.
4. Qualification
Rob congratulated Harry on his qualification as a DM at last Thursday’s screening of ‘The Girl who Played with Fire’.
(Included from later on in Trainee Discussion – It was agreed to give Rofiya a qualification at the 6:30pm screening of 'Monsters' on Friday Week 9.)
5. Wireless connection on slave till 2
“It worked yesterday, though that might have been because Ed was around.” There were quite a few DMs reporting issues with the VPN. Andrew believes you may have to attempt to log in several times.
6. AOB
i) There will be a curry order at 9pm on Saturday, prior to the midnight screening of “The Thing”.
ii) The SAFAN will take place on Thursday or Friday of week 10. Exciting news – The Mystery Film has now been picked.
iii) The discussion from the previous week’s meeting about DM Qualifications was discussed further at the Week 8 Exec Meeting and the decision taken at the Week 7 DM Meeting (not changing the qualifications as they currently stand) was upheld by the Exec.
