2. Rotas

Matt Breeze will project Kick-Ass, which Owen has already made up.
Rachel will project, but not make up, Skyline. Rob G could help supervise making up.

3. Show Reports

All shows were reported electronically this week – many thanks!
It was noted that Alex’s show report was considerably smaller than all the others, and that it should be more thorough.
Ads and Trailers are in a bit of a mess, and could do with being remade.

4. Technical Officer’s Report

Will be ringing about clutch plates and speaker tomorrow.
Aperture plate cutting session over the holidays.
Complaints about people using Tocil Field before the Outdoor Screening 

5. Correcting Films – lab splices too

Take out lab splices, correct cue dots if it’s an early and we have a late showing, otherwise leave the film be.

6. AOB

a. Projectionists who haven’t projected in a while
The chair has been asked to bring up whether we are happy for projectionists to simply start projecting again if they haven’t worked a show in a while. Some debate was had over the meaning of ‘a while’, and that this might be different for more experienced projectionists. An argument was also put forward that some projectionists did training sessions rather than shows. The conclusion was that committee members could express concern to the Chief Projectionist, and that if the Chief Proj had any concern about this person, then they should be pro-active about emailing them. This email should tactfully offer help, some supervision, or the ability to do the show without a TProj for some practice. It was noted that if there were genuine concerns and the person did not assist, the Chief Proj has the ability to propose dequalification to the Exec.

b. Training Sessions 13/3
Owen expressed concern that too many trainees were scheduled to train on the 13th March, resulting in multiple people being trained at once and difficulties with communication over the other people being trained. Edward (who was also conducting training on the day) agreed it didn’t go that well. In the future, the Chief Proj is asked to only schedule one person to train at any one time, whether there are multiple trainers present or not.
c. Sponsorship Pack Meeting
Edward invited everyone to the Sponsorship Pack meeting to be held in negative minutes time in L3.

The meeting concluded at 19:05pm.
