Projectionists Meeting @ 2011-10-31 18:10:00

1 Welcome and Apologies
Everyone was welcomed to the meeting.


2 Technical Officer's Report
AAM failed to turn-up on Wednesday, have be rearranged to come this
Wednesday.

Start-up instructions above P3, Rob will make himself available at the
start of shows to explain the start-up if it is required.


3 Busy Show Procedure
This is to remind everyone that we do not delay the start of the A+Ts because of a busy show, only ever after and only ever on the express permission of the DM-on-the-night.


4 Film Tracking and E-Show reports
Committee members are reminded to update Film Tracking whenever possible and to email their show reports in on time.


5 Training
Mike's ATS1 and ATS2 have been completed.;

Mike's Snaps Test this Saturday - Fergus, Kath, Rob M and Yolly can attend.


6 Projection Procedure Changes
 Masking tape was attached to the next trailers in the trailer challenge,
this caused a problem.

The new start-up procedure is on the wall, has been emailed out. Up-
dates will be sent out when they are created.

The Chief Projectionist recommends that every projectionist check the
Fire Exit opens completely prior to every show, this should also be
taught to trainees.

A new visualizer has been installed, it is very simple to operate.


7 Time and Date of Next Meeting
The next meeting will be on Monday 7th November at 18:10 in SSL.


8 AOB
On Saturday L3 is booked 10am - 3pm.

The Tech Ocer will investigate new gates for the projector.

Splicing tape and alignment lm are to be ordered.
