3. Technical Officer's Report
The Maintenance contract is still in discussion with Sound Associates will hopefully be clarified soon.
There have 4 clips ordered for intermittent arm on P1.
4. Training
Discussion for taking on more trainees occurred – it was decided more should be taken on (possibly 2).
5. Time and Date of Next Meeting
The next meeting will be on Monday 20th February at 18:10 in the SSL.
Tim G and Sam K left (projecting was apparently more important)
6. AOB
(brace yourself!)
Max H:
- The torch for P2 is broken
- The compressor was kept on after the last show, and hence came on once both projectors had stopped running and made a lot of noise. Reminder to everyone to switch it off after use.
Fergus C:
- Touch panel on Doremi should be closed as backlight stays on otherwise and would be expensive to replace if it blew!
- Once used, CDs should go back into their holders, especially those that have specific cases.
- Water (in cups) being left at the winding bench is not a sensible place to leave them. And in general, tidy up in the proj box!
- Could people in the proj box not talk as loudly since it is really noticeable, especially during quiet scenes
Andy M:
- Could people place aluminium cans in the recycling bin and not leave them in the proj box/office (in a similar vein to Fergus’ last point)
Meeting Ended at 18:51
