DM Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, 9 January 2007

3. Comments box
This will be implemented as soon as possible. It was agreed that a few pieces of paper should be provided with the box, but not an excessive amount.
4. Open day/session
The EPOS System will be demonstrated to anyone who is interested.
There will be some kind of social for food and drinks afterwards.
5. AOB
(i) Where possible, publicity materials should be produced so that stewards can hand them out at the tills or on the door. These will include include flyers for the Deloitte Event, weekly flyers for films and flyers promoting the suggestions page.
(ii) Live membership information from the Union database is currently inaccessible, and so new members cannot be given free tickets for the films at which they join. To prevent the system hanging, shows should be set up so that the boxes allowing the EPOS System to query the Union database are unticked.
Due to the sensitive nature of the discussion, James checked that the table was not bugged. Everything seemed fine.
(iii) Almost all of the publicity distribution has been completed - but not Westwood. George is organising a publicity outing to Westwood for Friday Week 1 at noon. Any help is welcome.
(iv) Rob has ordered a USB connector for the printer with the broken USB card. It should arrive within a week.
