Monday 15/10/12 (Autumn week 3) 18:17 SSL

1. Welcome and Apologies for Absence

Present: Enrik N (Chair), Andy M, Rob M, Yeng S, Sam K, Max H, Neil A, Georgie R, Fergus C

2. Technical Officer’s Report

In no particular order:

- The projection box has been cleaned

- Sound Associates (SA) visited

- Due to SA visit, we know that we need a new cable to fix the surrounds issue

- Oil change required for both projectors, hopefully at Christmas

- Should maybe look into getting new 35mm gates for both projectors

- Air conditioning is an unknown at the moment as to what will be happening

- We’re still not allowed in the cupboards at the bottom of L3

3. Training

Alex P needs his ATS2, this shall be conducted on Wednesday hopefully.

Enrik will be trying to organise ITSs for new trainees on Saturday if his degree lets him.

4. Projection Procedure Changes/Discussion

Enrik would like to remind everyone to check the trailers before they play them in case the wrong ones are in there. Saying that, the trailer change should be done by the previous night’s projectionist anyway.

5. Time and Date of next meeting

The next meeting shall be on the 22nd October 2012 at 18:10 in the SSL. Enrik will try to be cheerier for this one!

6. AOB

Enrik N:

- Due to the digital projector being, well, digital, there is no point in having the Ads and Trailers laminate anymore. It hasn’t been used this term much at all and most of the information on it is available from the VNC. It was suggested that an A2 should go up on the P3 wall so the projectionist can easily see which trailer to add.

- Batman Season is soon approaching and in light of this the exec have decided to Batman-ify (it’s a word, trust me) things. Please get involved if you so wish :).
