Minutes of the Warwick Student Cinema (WSC) Executive Committee meeting held on Wednesday 16th March (Term 2 Week 10)

Present: Jonatan Benarroch (President; chair), Anjana Radhakrishnan (Vice-President; minutes), Joel Speed (IT Officer), Reece Goodall (Publicity Officer), Lakshmi Ajay (Chief Projectionist), Dom Lam (Chief Editor), Hannah Freeman (Marketing Officer), Matthew Williams (Chief Duty Manager) and Alex Holmes (Treasurer). Phil Beckett (Events and Socials Coordinator) for points 3-6.
Also Present: Mayur Dave (points 3-6)
1. Welcome and Apologies
Apologies were received from Jacek Kopanski (Films Officer) and Alex Pointon (Technical Officer).
2. Sponsorship Pack
Reece and Jonatan have made a start on the sponsorship pack. Jonatan has been speaking to Samuel from HSBC, and a meeting has been arranged for next week. The sponsorship pack should be ready within the first week of the Easter break.
3. Pricing – tickets and membership
It was considered to change the prices of membership and/or tickets. This will be discussed further via email exec threads or discourse.
4. FilmSoc Tour
A discourse thread will be started to discuss possible ideas.
5. TADONM
This will be decided on an exec email thread. Likely to be early Term 3.
6. AOB
i) There will be a publicity run at the start of next term.
ii) The piazza has been booked for Monday Week 1 of Term 3 to hand out publicity. It would be appreciated if you could spare some time to help out.
iii) Date for the Big Screening was briefly discussed. The piazza/screen is yet to be booked for the event.
