DM Meeting @ 2016-10-27 18:10:00

Meeting started at: 6.10 pm

1. Welcome and apologies
Present: Matt, Richard, Caleb, Alex, Michael LG, Angela, Chris.
Apologies: Mike Joy, Anjana.


2. Rotas
Week 5: Star Trek (Saturday 5th Nov) 6:30pm needs a QDM – Alex can do this, although he is signed up to the 9:30pm show, so if you weren’t at the meeting please sign up if you can do it.
Hotel Rwanda screening on Wednesday 2nd has been added to the rotas and needs stewards. CDM plans to send email to get stewards to sign up on the rotas for the show at the weekend.

3. All-Nighter
Who will be here to staff the all-nighter? (Friday 18th November): Matt, Chris, Mike LG, Alex, Angela(undecided), Caleb(undecided).
DMs not at the meeting, please can you let Matt know if you will be there to help on the night.
Running order of films at the all-nighter will be decided at the programming meeting on Wednesday. Will organise which DMs staff each film at a future meeting.

4. AOBs
a) The Getting Involved banner has been damaged. Richard will be making a new one over the next few weeks. In the meantime, put up the second general banner instead of where the getting involved banner would go.
b) Spare change should be kept at £200. You should only ever swap a FULL bag of coins with any notes. If coin bags in spare change are low, please let CDM know.
c) Please can DMs ask stewards to sit on the fold down balcony seats and not at the desks.
d) Protocol for cancelled shows: The DM and the stewards should wait at the tills until the ads and trailers would have ended and turn away and apologies to customers who wanted to see the film.
e) Boars to be handed out on Thursday and Friday this week.
f) Jane Austin collaboration social on Sunday. Watching Pride and Prejudice and is free for all WSC members.
g) Please ensure that you sign the treasurer’s tray return slip. If you do a show with an NDM, make sure that the new DM signs it.
h) If a customer wants to make a complaint, the official complaint procedure is to email the President or info@warwick.film.
