3. Slack
Slack is an instant messaging system designed for teams to use. I have set two channels up for qualified DMs and trainee DMs to use. We will try using it for the next few weeks to see how well it works. On the QDM channel we can post show reports for TDMs and also use to notify about DM meeting. TDM channel can be used if you want to ask CDM any questions.
The link has been sent out to all DMs, so when you make an account drop Matt a message and you will be invited to the channels.
4. AOBs
a) There have been issues with the website being down this week, Joel is setting up so the website can be accessed at the tills, but if that doesn’t work then use raffle tickets at shows.
b) Please hand out A2 posters (schedule poster) at the end of every show for first two weeks of term. There is a box of folded A2s in the office.
c) A Doodle poll will be sent out to find the best day for DM meetings. Please can you answer it otherwise I will keep DM meetings on Thursdays.
d) If you have spare time when in the office, please roll up posters and fill up the purple publicity bucket.
e) WSC Pub Quiz on Friday, please come along
f) POS has been crashing on one of the tills, Joel will look into this.
g) There is an issue at the tills when nothing prints when trying to print two tickets at once, Joel will look into this.
