Show Reports

Under The Shadow – Thursday; Q-Proj: Jonatan; T-Proj: Matt
• We have heard no complaints. Matt says nothing too terrible happened (it was fine!).
Rogue One – Friday; Q-Proj: Phil, Kieran; T-Proj: Josh, Irene
• Both shows were fine, except the CD player stopped during the late even though it was on repeat. Keep an eye on this. There was a shutdown for the early.
Moana – Saturday; Q-Proj: Hannah, Kieran; T-Proj: Hazel, Matt
• Was fine. Prepared for shutdown but it didn't happen.
Silver Linings Playbook – Sunday; Q-Proj: Richard; T-Proj: Josh
• Was also fine. FoH was done due to earlier snaps test. Richard says he did absolutely nothing.
The Social Network – Monday; Q-Proj: Hannah; T-Proj: Hazel
• Was also fine. Had trouble extracting KDM but re-downloading it worked.
Forrest Gump – Tuesday; Q-Proj: Phil; T-Proj: Richard
• Went well. DTS lost timecode on P2 and Richard is unhappy with his changeovers. Some were due to Richard needing more training, others because header/footer frames were missing (thus unequal).
• CP500 died (turned screen off but lights were on still. Richard says line appeared on screen and warning icon appeared).

Proj Procedure Changes

• Look at training power path when there are more people here.
• Please do show reports and use film tracker.

• 35mm sound equipment is dying.
• Phil wants new thin and thick tape.
• ßort out DTS fallback to Dolby A/SR for XD-10 says Phil. Alex P told Kieran previously that fallback to SR-D should work.
• Fix SDDS says Phil also.
• Star Wars CD ("quite jazzy") is very quiet and from a low bitrate source.
• Richard would like more CDs. Richard appeared pleased at the idea of us having Now 53, disc 2.
• General gratitude was expressed to Phil for tidying proj box.
• Phil wondered whether squashed IPA cans were stepped on at some point.
• Go to Lakshmi's end of term meal
• Richard asks that A2s be rolled.
• Kieran notes that A2s do not need rolling due to the upcoming end of term
• Phil makes vague request for new film tracker from IT
