5 AOBs
i. The Goose outside DCS has gone. There were no goslings.
ii. The former Publicity Officer requested the rolling of A2s
iii. In response to recent terrorist attacks across the country, the President briefed those present on the procedure during a terrorist attack. Your only concern is your own safety. You should lock the corridor and office and call security immediately.
iv. Richard wanted it noted that he was sad this was something that had to be discussed
v. Kieran apologised on behalf of the IT team, and made plain the fact that Joel and Benji have been going above and beyond to repair the website. The website is anticipated to be much more stable, following the IT team’s receipt of new switches. Kieran requested that the DMs try and appear less frustrated during downtime.
vi. The master printer continues to have USB connection issues. These should be logged and reported to the IT team
vii. Justin requested that the new printer buzzer remain inactive
viii. Michael expressed his sentiments, as this was his last DM meeting. Those present wished him a fond farewell

6 Trainee Exam
• The CDM, with the assistance of Alex, has written an examination to be taken by trainees prior to their qualification
• The constitutional issues of implementing such procedure were deemed
to be non-existent
• The tone of the exam was found to be too serious, and the CDM will
revise the format of the assessment
• Some DMs believed an oral examination was more appropriate. The
CDM and some others pointedly disagreed
• The CDM will administer the assessment to selected DMs for
moderation purposes on the upcoming Edinburgh trip
• These results will help better shape the content of the exam, and ensure the questions set are appropriate
• After moderation, the intention is to implement the assessment next term

Meeting concluded 17:26
