1. Welcome and apologies

CDM welcomed those present and distributed Aldi digestive biscuits.
2. Rotas:

3. AOBs:
i. Confiscation notices continue to be unable to be printed. CDM will bring when possible
ii. Alcohol must always be confiscated if there is a path to it
iii. Licenses must be displayed at every screening
iv. A new FoH banner is on order
v. CDM will send an email to stewards about dm-ing
vi. Questions were asked about the trainee buddy scheme. CDM explained it is a semi-confidential service to ensure the wellbeing of new trainees. If the QDM feels it necessary, they should inform the CDM of circumstances which may be adversely affecting the trainee, so that the CDM can take appropriate action. The QDM is also not supposed to count questions asked about DM-ing against the trainee when it comes to assessing their readiness for qualification.
vii. The former publicity officer launched into their usual tirade about rolling A2s
viii. It was raised which rota takes precedent; the website or the paper copy on the plantroom door. The paper copy is a temporary solution to recent website issues, and the CDM will make every effort to keep it updated. A combination of the two should be used for best effect.
ix. There are now more banking bags, so takings do not need to be left in boxes in the safe
x. The spare change is now back to reasonable denominations
xi. Stewards should be told to crack down on snapchat usage during films. The films are watermarked, and any illegal photography could be traced back to WSC
xii. Plans were discussed between the former and current publicity officers to update the slides asking audience members to put phones away etc. the marketing officer will be consulted.
xiii. The correct procedure to grant crew status to new stewards was outlined; you untick trainee steward, tick crew & steward and then click grant full crew
xiv. Alumni and carer cards do not appear to work on EPOS. CDM to raise with IT. CDM to also email Mike LG to bring alumni card for Kieran to test
xv. CDM to bring forward to exec what ticket charge for carers (if no dependents) and alumni. Non-member or external price?
