3. The Room:
Spoon amnesty to be held to collect metal spoons that might damage the screen or cause injury to audience member’s.
To provide plastic spoons at the tills.
Beware audience photographing the screen.
Publicity officer to place picture of spoon in publicity frame
Tommy Wiseau to be stuck on Richard Hammond to be put out
Toy dog?
DM to make an announcement to say please don’t throw heavy items and no photos.
Kieran to make pre show card.
4. Exec meeting
There is an exec meeting tomorrow at 4pm.
Need to ratify Taylor.
Are there things we want raised? No
There is also a meet the exec meeting at 5pm, for those interested in running for exec roles.
5. AOBs:
i. Monday 29th 7:30pm - The Party needs stewards- Kieran? Reece?
ii. Tuesday 30th 7:30pm - Jackie Brown needs stewards- Kieran?
iii. Have qualification discussion in foyer so we can see latecomers, as TDM would have to deal on own otherwise
iv. CDM to email IT officer about free for members The Party
v. Paper to go over the top of the tension bar in the printers, not underneath
vi. Sat week 5 Taylor and Justin both DMing. CDM aware
vii. On Fri at 9am the Filmsoc radio show is on air. Let Reece know if you want to appear
viii. New WSC banner. Different erection procedure. Training session before meet the exec
ix. Banner to be placed at front of the concourse, by sliding doors. Inform trainees
x. Please be very careful with new banner
xi. A2s rolling
xii. Please don’t print banking slips on coloured paper, especially pink
xiii. Iain retroactively asked how the banner was coming along
xiv. CDM to encourage people to read minutes
xv. CDM to email preview copy of minutes without trainee discussion to the trainees
xvi. If a steward asks to see the projector, please guide them up and announce to the projectionist
xvii. Trainee projs should tell the DM, not the stewards, when we can let people in
xviii. A vote was held on the wearing of non-DM WSC polos at the tills. Alex only wants Dms to wear polos. 5 voted for exec and Proj polos to be allowed. 2 voted to allow TDMs to wear polos whilst stewarding
xix. *Following the exec meeting the next day it was determined that any WSC polo may be worn whilst stewarding, except in the case of trainee DMs per CDMs request*
