2. Rotas
Week 9
TDM
• Monday 18 June, 7.30pm — Rampage
• Tuesday 19 June, 7.30pm — Game Night
• Friday 22 June, 6.30pm — A Quiet Place
• Saturday 23 June, 6.30pm — Infinity War
• Saturday 23 June, 9.30pm — Infinity War
3. The Big Screening!
• Takes place on Monday Week 10 in the Piazza, with the film starting at 10.
• Follows a Spain vs Morocco football match, the BBC coverage of which ends at 9.10pm. All hands on deck to tidy piazza after the match ends.
• Weather looks good as it stands, but a contingency plan will be prepared in case it takes a turn for the worse.
• No event-specific polos have been ordered, but other forms of identification are being prepared, including special lion ears and face paint. Those helping out should wear black DM polos.
• There might be a pub run on either the Sunday or the Monday — the CDM will keep everyone updated.
• A copy of the risk assessment was distributed. The stairs will need to be kept clear, possibly with tape. The audience will be monitored, security can be called if necessary.
• The CDM was asked to provide either gloves or litter pickers for cleaning the piazza. Tie top bin bags were recommended.
• In the past, noise has leaked into the Arts Centre, and they have asked us to turn the volume down. The CDM was asked to prepare for this. However, they do not appear to be showing anything at the same time as the screening.
• The CDM was asked to look at the specifics of licensing for the big screening, especially with regards to photography and alcohol.
• We may be giving out Amazon goody packs.
• A more detailed plan for the night will be created by the CDM.
• A number of suggestions were made to help improve the atmosphere, including: ordering a big lion; creating a photo booth; a lion onesie.
4. AOBs
i. Non-exec DMs should return keys to either Irene or Casper by Monday Week 10, or make special arrangements with them.
ii. Antoinette was congratulated on qualifying as a DM.
iii. A draft schedule for Term 1 is now available online. The cinema will be showing films in Week 0, starting on 23 September — any assistance with DMing and stewarding during that week would be appreciated.
iv. The site code for POS is ‘Warwick’ — this will be required if ever the username or password is entered incorrectly.
v. The CDM thanked the committee for a good year.
vi. If there are no cash takings (for instance, if only EAW is taken, or if it’s a free/zero show), do not put the banking slip in a grey bag. Instead, put it in the treasurer’s tray along with the treasurer’s tray return.
vii. Please avoid putting the memo from the early to the late DM in with the takings, as this can lead to confusion with the Finance Office.
viii. Casper was congratulated on becoming the ‘retuning’ officer, and on being the returning returning officer.
ix. The CDM was congratulated on his term and a half of service.
x. Caleb’s D&D fox was praised.
Meeting concluded: 17:48
