Ed Harry enters and is welcomed formally by JC.
2. Outdoor screening was all good apart from JM threatened after film by drunken people. More barriers needed although barrier –> tape –> barrier seemed to work well.
Needed better emergency screen release as when came to taking down would not release quickly and most had to be undone by hand. Was it essential to run thread through every hole on screen onto the tri-lite? Yes, it got creases if you didn’t. Need to aim to keep cost of truss and scaffolding under 3000 next year. Need to discuss more with scaffolding for next year. Also need to start setting up of projection equipment earlier next year. Projector was nearly dropped as it was walked down the hill

Need to work out cancellation clauses for next year for the day due to bad weather or field being unusable etc.
Must start planning earlier in the year and not have 2nd years as main planners as they have a lack of time! Try to have everything confirmed week in advance.
T-shirt design on front looked good. Maybe glow in the dark t-shirts next year? Also would high visibility vests with WSC printed on be useful? Yes for this and maybe Allnighters! Do in ADM

4. Almost all images and titles are done and most reviews have been assigned and sent back to Laura. Roughly 7 have not been done and so Laura to maybe do. Claire will confirm the whole schedule when Troy’s come back off holiday. Bourne Ultimatum to be shown in Allnighter line-up with possibly Blades of Glory, Bruce 2, Ratatouille and Mystery. New Cohen Brothers to be added?
Aim to go to print at the end of July, just before GM goes on holiday.
5. British Film Week. One film to be picked by exec and another by public vote. Will do a raffle/prize draw for BFW.
Other Film Societies. GM considering we try to amalgamate them all? Would most likely cause more controversy! Would it be best to leave SOAF to the minor clique and small group of friends it pulls in? We just have to make sure we get may many more members for the beginning of next year!
Freshers Fair. Who organises tables for Freshers Fair?
If SSDO good, if Socs Fed bad!! Will just see what happens.
