Festive DM Meeting / The DM Christmas Party

1. Welcome and apologies
Present: Iain, Richard, Jamie, Wilkie, Patrycja, Matt, Antoinette, Taylor, Casper
Apologies: Caleb, Anjana, Chris, Mike, James, Reece, Kieran
2. Any official business
• The CDM thanked everyone for a great term.
• The top 5 films in terms of attendance were Incredibles 2, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Deadpool 2, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Crazy Rich Asians. The two least attended films were Rent and Let the Sunshine In.
• TADONM — to be decided by Doodle Poll.
• Casper complained about the colour scheme in the CDM’s festive power point, and requested that there be a DM colour scheme which wasn’t yellow and black.
• Bublé has been ‘defrosted’, and the website is now snowing and in its festive colour scheme accordingly.
• It was noted that there were a few outstanding show reports.
3. Festivities
• Christmas crackers, mince pies, and other snacks were distributed.
• The crackers were pulled, and hat-wearing, joke-telling, and food eating followed.
• The soundtrack was suitably festive, with ‘Wizzard’, ‘Wham’, ‘Shakin’ Stevens’ and ‘Slade’ all played.
• Quiplash 2 was played, and cinema related answers tended to get lots of points. Casper and Antoinette were the joint winners.
