DM Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, 2 October 2007
6.05 pm, Rococo
1. Welcome and apologies
Present: James McLachlan, Helen Coe, Rachel Crofts, Robert Gardner, Eleanor Hutchinson, George Marshall, Martin Mee, Matt Pusey
Apologies: Mike Joy, Pierre Schramm
There was shock when it was revealed that Richard Winskill had not sent apologies.
2. Rotas
No one has signed up to Goodbye Bafana.
The Classics Society is possibly planning a social to 300.
3. Keys
All the DMs have their WSC keys.
4. Tills and EPOS system
The proximity readers are now working in the EPOS system. They should all be ready for Half Nelson.
EPOS System version 1.5.0 is still in use, so DM override is not operational.
5. Signs
The signs with the Deloitte logo are obsolete. George will send James a high resolution UBS logo for new signs. James will try to have the frequently used signs ready for Goodbye Bafana.
Black Gold (Thursday, Week 2) will be shown on DVD. At Monday's projection meeting, it was suggested that we have a carefully worded sign explaining this. Rachel offered, "Tonight's film will be shown in a digital format."
Robert suggested we have a Black Sheep event next term. No one objected.
6. Next meeting(s)
It was agreed that Tuesdays at 6.15 pm would be the meeting time for this term. The start time can be brought forward if there are many agenda points. Rachel can squeeze this time around her three-hour week.
7. AOB
(i) Memberships will be sold at the free shows.
(ii) Geroge will run a 'getting involved' table at the first few shows of term.
(iii) The comments box sign will be modified to include "Comments and Questionnaires".
