3. Notices
• Please keep pushing for memberships. Generally, just ask qualified stewards to do this, as it may get too confusing for new stewards.
• Please let Kieran or I know when the last box of loyalty cards (under the publicity table) is opened. We will be ordering some more to take us to the end of term.
• Don’t forget to check the collaborations board during EPOS setup and select the collaboration ticket if there is one. Also, you’ll need to show your stewards how to check membership through POS, but you can always ask them to wait for you if someone tells them they are from a certain society and go through the steps this way.
• We have a preview screening of So Long, My Son on Saturday 30th November at 2pm (before Joker). It’s been added to the rotas and everyone will get in for free.
• Please make sure to thank stewards for stewarding at the end of the show, and if they’re a trainee remind them what their next shows will be e.g ‘you’ll have a show on doors next and then a show on tills and then you’ll get free films!’ This really helps motivate the stewards to sign up for more. Please also thank the projectionists after the show.
• Don’t forget that DMs and Projs get first pick of film posters for shows you’ve worked on. Antoinette has a list in her tray that you should put your name on when taking a poster.
• There is more pride week publicity on the publicity table.
4. AOBs
i. There is an exec meeting tomorrow at 5pm in A1.28 (Milburn House).
ii. There is a Canopy meal social tomorrow from 7pm. We will be going to the Duck afterwards.
iii. Matt congratulated Jamie on reaching 50 DM shows on Eighth Grade.
iv. Matt also belatedly congratulated Antoinette for reaching 50 DM shows on Pulp Fiction in Welcome Week. He apologised for not noticing this at the time.
v. Please make sure you’ve read last week’s minutes for things to tell stewards.
