Meeting commenced – 18:00
1. Welcome
Present: Matt, Antoinette, Iain, Rianna, Ali, Zuzanna, Niall, Barnaby (T-Proj), Elena (Proj), Jamie Lok (Proj)
The CDM welcomed all DMs to the party. Plenty of snacks were distributed.
2. End of term reflections & thanks
The DM team were thanked for a fantastic term and for putting so much effort in. The CDM gave a special shout out to Antoinette and Jamie as he couldn’t have made it through this term without them.
Congratulations were given to Niall and Rianna for qualifying at the weekend.
The Projectionists were thanked for their hard work in showing all the films.
The CDM noted that he felt proud that we’ve pushed making stewarding more enjoyable and making stewards feel more appreciated. He hoped that this would continue throughout the next term.
The CDM told the team that several potential TDMs had been identified and we will be running shadow shows at the start of next term.
The CDM said that Christmas is a good time to reflect on the term and to discuss and implement any improvements within the FoH team. The team were asked to contact the CDM, if they had any ideas for improvements.
3. Festivities
The team pulled Christmas crackers and told the jokes from the crackers. The team played a Christmas quiz on Kahoot! During the game, Antoinette declared that the winner gets qualified as a DM. Elena won the quiz, but the CDM decided to overrule Antoinette and not qualify Elena.
