Show Reports:
Tues Half Nelson Rachel +
Will
Slightly late C/O on one one reel,
bit of a messy start-up due to a shutdown for James' Speach.
Wed TMNT Ed +
Will
Trailers snaped during first trailer due to excessive
required re-racking (due to bad making-up). Fixed after a few
seconds, sound apparantly carried over during one C/O.
Thur Goodbye Bafana Ed +
Jeffrey
Went ok untill reel 6 where CP 500 'crashed'. Screen froze and
produced buzzing on surround channel. Amp was turned off and a hard
reboot was done after last reel, this seamed to fix it.
Corridor door was locked due to plant room door being open, this
denied access to the proj box for the DM.
Fri Early 300 Tom
C/O reel 1 to 2 apparantly cut off some sound.
Prnt was quite badly scrached.
Royal Marines add was badly OOR (fixed by Aiden on Sat).
Late Aiden +
Will
Did the UBS start-up for he 1st time, went well.
Had to do shutdown due to sellout (yey), went fine.
Sun Early Zodiac Ed
Gate wasn't closed properly during start of adds, went out of focus,
and then again when gate got closed properly.
Late Martin
Ran projector and changed over straight away at end of UBS video,
caused UBS slide to be shown momentarily before slide time leader of
adds came on screen.
Tom Hill did last 3 reels, went well.
AOBs:
We now have a UBS video to play before adds start of adds. Start up procedure is written on wall above each changeover
system. Make sure that old SDDS is seleced to play he video (2nd from top, right hand side). The end of the video is the cue
to start the projector, and the end of the following UBS slide is the cue to changeover.
Everyone has to make sure that the microphone is put back properly and the end of each show, and the program sound /
microphones unmuted.
There will be initial training sessions for potential new trainies over the next two or so weeks, anyone who is free should
let Ed know when, Wed and weekends will probably be the best times.
