DM Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, 9 October 2007
6.15 pm, The Lounge (No Alcohol Allowed), Union North
1. Welcome and apologies
Present: James McLachlan, Helen Coe, Robert Gardner, Mike Joy, Matt Pusey
Apologies: Rachel Crofts, Eleanor Hutchinson, George Marshall, Pierre Schramm
2. Rotas
Two new stewards have already signed up to shows.
3. Qualification
Matt's qualification show will be either a Friday early or a Sunday early and will be scheduled over DM listings.
4. 300
A guide dog attended the sellout 9.30 pm showing of 300.
Five of the red chairs were used to seat the last of the audience quickly. This worked well and allowed over 300 tickets to be sold, so no one had to be turned away.
5. EPOS System
There is a link to EPOS version 2 on the Crew News page. DMs are encouraged to use it on at least one till every show. A 'search university directory' function is still required.
6. Recycling
The cleaners do collect lecture notes for recycling, so when tidying L3 stewards and DMs should collect lecture notes together and leave them by the bins, preferably in the boxes from Warwick Print.
7. Estates
Some of the broken carpeting has been repaired in L3, but nothing else has been done. James will send a formal email to Claire Beament, the University's Assistant Safety Officer, asking whom to contact about faults in L3 and whether faults may be reported direct to the Safety Office.
8. AOB
Meet at 9.30 pm in L3 on Saturday for the traditional pre-midnight show curry.
