2. Exec Procedure
• AP welcomes the new exec
o Make your position your own, be creative and fulfil that!
o Ask for help if needed
• AP instructs everyone how to use Facebook and not to like as the official FilmSoc account
• “Slack makes life a lot easier” – AP
• AP: Use your official emails please!
• KH: WRT new emails, a login from California is NORMAL (it’s Google)
• AP talks about sub roles
o AP volunteered for health and safety officer
o AP nominated himself for Welfare Officer after offering the role to everyone else
o Voting to confirm AP as Welfare Officer
o Approve: 16
o Against: 0
o Abstain: 3
• AP thanks all for the election, and says to email him with welfare suggestions
3. Handover Progress
COS is having handover later today
Aryan and Josh had a handover today, but Aryan wasn’t present
EK says JL has written a very nice handover booklet
MP and JS say handover all fine

• Amazing FB post has been made already
• MM’s Photoshop tutorial went well

• Showed our first 4K film

• Beermats have been distributed

• Team meeting coming up soon
• Big changes to be reviewed pending approval
• Harry thinks RDP is working for DreamWorks

vi. KH mentions a green badge on our Facebook page we’ve got from quickly replying to % of posts. We should work to keep this! KH commends JR for his commitment to replying to posts, helping us to earn the badge
vii. JL: There’s a Facebook page called WSC inbox replies, this is a good thing
viii. ABM: Who’s in charge of replying to exec emails?
AP: VP will delegate, or reply if no-one else does
ix. HT: Please let the IT officers know if you have email troubles. Also, ensure your phone isn’t blocking notifications from Slack etc.
AP: Add aliases to your phone! Also start exec-ing from now!
x. AP: Max King. Weekly emails are changing! Please send reviews by Friday the week before and they’ll be included; you’ll be credited. Max King.
xi. COS: M&S snacks were nice, but more snacks are needed. AP promises brownies next time. AP is very critical of Elena’s “Breadsticks” suggestion.
