Welcome and Apologies
MK thanks everyone for doing the getting involved meeting, it was pog <3 Sign up sheets from that are in trays in the office!
Team Updates
Proj: EG: Bringing on 2 new people – William (from getting involved meeting) and Sam (from initial interviews). Eric qualified!
FOH: SO: Qualified 2 new people (Joe and Dillan)! Need to invoice for new USB cables and order some new till roll.
Publicity: SO: Doors pub for Anderson/LOTR has arrived, and undated getting involved stuff is on its way.
Marketing: ED: Social media interaction good, still posting daily. SE: Had loads of people contributing to slides and they’re very receptive to feedback. Had 6 or 7 new people join thanks to the form we made!
IT: (from AS): Had a team meeting and people came!
Socials: SC: Pub quiz tomorrow! Submitted money request for getting involved pizza but not been paid back yet. Might be a circle in week 5.
Films: ZM: Had a panic about SHaGfest but found someone on ebay who’ll deliver the bluray on Monday. Will send a message about programming meeting – will be on a Saturday.
SHaGfest
Not on our website yet – can it be added?
Showing Sleeping With Other People on Weds 1st, 7:30pm, free for everyone. Needs to be added to SU website (non-ticketed). Marketing will make insta post, MK will put in members email.
LL: Been (non-consensually) signed up to a stall, 10-4 on Weds 1st, set-up from 9 – take popcorn, publicity and banner. It’s a strike day but is in an SU building. Will put rotas on the website – please sign up :)
Will need to pre-pop the popcorn. SO, KH around Tues 31st, will get Andy to sort it and do the poppin outside after the film.
Filmsoc merch
Want to order merch for new dms/projs/exec and some more generic nameless ones – SO will inventory and write a list of sizes for generic ones.
Was a minimum order size for the people we ordered them from last time – AP will put out a google form to find out if we meet that, get a quote, and get colour samples for the hoodies to send to exec channel.
Hoodies are for anyone who wants them – they pay, was £35 last time (cost £45 and we subsidised them).
MUBI giveaway
LL: Finally found out we’re having to pay for the film, no budget for refreshments, and giveaway offers essentially no benefit to us. [Apparently they have form with this kind of thing].
AGM/meet the exec
Elections: Week 9 Wednesday at 4pm, hopefully ending by 8pm and can then follow with a social. Can then have handover exec meeting at the weekend.
Meet the Exec: Week 6 Sunday, 3-5pm. Open nominations straight afterwards.
SO will be returning officer for elections.

Friday week 5, 3-5pm.

LL: Staffing for Evening of Anderson? Will discuss in dm/proj meetings.
LL: Discussed making lost property signs for publicity table – SO will make.
LL: Constitution meeting? Week 6 Sunday, 1-3pm. Standard exec meeting so will be open to members. Please read constitution and come with thoughts!
Trainees need to be a discussion point at proj meeting.
ZM: Structure of next term’s schedule?
LL: Exams and deadlines happen in week 4: Get rid and move onto Fridays during the empty weeks?
Need to weigh up crew wellbeing with freshers being the main audience. – but moving films to better times for other years might make our audience less fresher-heavy.
Will delete Sunday-Thursday week 4 and put on Friday 6:30 showings and Saturday 6:30/9:30 showings during weeks 4-8.

EG: Would like to resign. Thought about it for a long time. Tried to make it as easy as possible for someone to fill in – got meeting emails prepped, MK should still have access to training waiting list. Haven’t enjoyed being on exec and having a position of responsibility but being banned from acting on it. Will also struggle being a full exec member with health issues at the moment. Will collect my stuff from filmsoc at some point.
