4. Steward Assignment Discussion
Everyone roughly had the same views on assignment of stewards:
If it is a busy show you will want your best experienced stewards on tills.
Trainee Stewards will be assigned according to their comments, however, will want to avoid having either doors or tills full of trainees.
In all other situations stewards are assigned according to their prior assignments, how late/early they show up, and according to individual preference. There are no hard and fast rules and all DMs should be able to make their own decisions.
It is important to note that DMs should avoid making doors seem like a punishment and ensure stewards are as happy as possible.
5. AOBs
Kieran reminded everyone that we have the CinemaNow documentary everyday this week so when combined with adverts the film should be starting roughly 25 minutes after the listed start time. So ensure you keep tills out for the appropriate amount of time and close up so stewards enter L3 before the end of the documentary.
